Members -- MUST KNOW
All members must work
- You must work 3-4 hours minimum per month.
- We have many open tasks related to fuel production. Also, see the Task Tracker list for other opportunities to work.
- Members have to choose at least one committee to join.
- Members can choose to suspend their membership.
- Either temporarily or permanently.
- during suspension, you cannot vote, buy fuel or collect Carma points.
- Members must follow our safety policy.
- Members must sign a waiver.
- Members must respect everyone.
- Members must complete a statement of involvement.
- Why you are involved in the coop.
- What help you would like to provide.
- Members must log their time in the Carma Tracker Coop reserves the right to amend hours posted.
Important: Logging Hours in Carma Tracker Now Mandatory
- Log work hours within 15 days of work
- Beginning November 1st, 2006 work hours have to logged into Carma Tracker within 15 days of work.
- Log any outstanding hours worked. Do this before November 1st, 2006.
- Hours not entered by Nov 1st will be gone forever and cannot be redeemed.
Members not working for 4 months will have membership suspended
- If you fail to log hours for 4 months straight your membership will be suspended.
- You will have to reapply for membership.
- You will need to pay a $50 reinstatement fee.

Log Your Hours
When you perform some task for the coop, such as attending a meeting or performing an errand, such as picking up oil or helping make fuel, you get credit for the hours you worked. Each hour you work at the co-op gets you one point of carma. How much carma do you need to buy biodiesel? Check our Carma Policy page.

General Manager
The position of General Manager is open!
Currently, the co-op is in need of a few dedicated, organized folks to share the responsibilities of an Interim General Management Team. Here are the organizational needs that we have identified as the top priorities of General Management:
- coordinates Work Parties and membership meetings - collects weekly updates from each committee chair, posting updates online (or via email) - communicates between Inreach and the other committee chairs for personnel/equipment needs - coordinates general co-op email response - coordinates media contacts - coordinates budget information dispersal

Safety
- Description: Provide a forum for committees to bring up safety concerns. The Safety Committee is made up of representatives from each committee as well as permanent members who take action on safety concerns.
Some of the things the safety committee oversees:
- Maintainance of safety regulations, procedures and signs on-site
- To view general safety guidlines for all members/volunteers conducting on-site tasks Gobiodiesel Cooperative Safety Guide.

- To view the elite mixmaster's safety guide go to Brew Book 2.0.
- Safety training for new members who will be working on-site
- Review of site for safety compliance and improvements. Material safety data sheets (MSDS) accessible in the mixmaster Brew Book appendix: Brew Book 2.0
- Keeping an eye on Bio the cat to make sure he doesn't get locked in the Conex.
